I really do love the watches, which makes this even more frustrating. I reached out through omegawatches.com with a question and ended up waiting days just to hear back. When they finally replied, it felt rushed and didn’t really answer what I needed, so I had to follow up all over again. For a brand like this, I expected support to feel a lot more reliable. I tried to get access to a limited edition watch on omegawatches.com, and while the site itself looked really nice, the whole process was a little confusing. It felt like things disappeared almost immediately, which I understand with limited releases, but it still left me wondering if everyone else had the same experience or if I just missed something. I expected it to be a bit smoother and more clear. Not a terrible experience, just kind of frustrating.

I was ready to buy the watch, but the second I got to the payment page, my confidence completely vanished. It just didn’t feel clear enough what security was actually in place, and suddenly typing in my card details felt like stepping into the unknown.

Maybe everything is totally fine behind the scenes, but for something this expensive, I needed way more reassurance. I expected clear payment info and a sense of trust, and without that, I backed out before placing the order

Overall, the packaging looked really nice and the Omega box itself feels solid and well made. That said, for the price, I guess I was expecting the whole unboxing to feel a little more polished. The outer shipping box had a small dent, and the papers inside looked like they were placed in kind of a hurry. Nothing was actually damaged, which is the important part, but my first impression was that it felt a bit less special than I hoped. Still a good quality box, just not a perfect experience for me.

After I paid, the order tracking didn’t really update much. It showed as shipped, but then there was basically no movement for several days. When I reached out, support more or less just sent me the same tracking link again. For a watch at this price, I kind of expected a smoother experience...

At first it seemed okay, but after about a week the movement kept running slow and I started losing time. once I’d already paid, it felt like I couldn’t really trust things to work the way they were supposed to

I thought the finish would be a lot better. The bracelet edges felt kind of rough, and the clasp had these tiny little gaps here and there. For an Omega, it just didn’t really feel like it was made all that carefully.

I really like how it looks, but after wearing it for a while... the strap starts to feel stiff. The watch also feels heavier faster than I expected, so it’s not the most comfortable for all-day wear.

The site was annoying to use, haha. The pages kept lagging, and checkout froze on me a few times, which made the whole process take way longer than it should have

My Omega had a problem while it was still under warranty, and the support process was kinda disappointing. I was just trying to find one specific Speedmaster model, which I foolishly assumed would be straightforward. Instead, the site treated me to a lovely maze of nearly identical versions, filters that were apparently just there for decoration, and pages full of watches I absolutely wasn’t looking for. After clicking around for way too long, I gave up. Very impressive if the goal was to make watch shopping feel like a part-time job...

I was expecting this to hold up a lot better, but it broke quickly. It might be fine for light use, but for me it was a miss.
